Come Celebrate your Wedding Events at the Treman Center!

Enjoy the Treman Center’s large classic barn and its Italianate courtyards on the edge of the Finger Lakes most scenic parks, featuring a spectacular 2.5 mile gorge and dramatic waterfalls right in our backyard. We are only 10 minutes for downtown Ithaca.

The center is yours for full use as a destination weekend from 9 am Friday morning until 2 pm Sunday afternoon. We have found that for couples with family and friends coming in from out of town, having a central gathering place to hold the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception and brunch is ideal.

There are many ways to stage your event around our vast grounds, front terrace, tree-flanked alley and the 2 large main floors with fireplaces. The first floor is all stone, opening out onto the spacious Tuscan courtyards with water feature. The second floor has a fantastic dance floor with a Steinway piano, great sound and is perfect for a seated dinner.

There is a bridal bedroom suite on the third floor (not for large assembly) for the marital couple to stay in for the weekend, and a charming dressing area with theatre lights and mirrors for the bridesmaids to get ready with hair/makeup artists if desired.

We have a unique stretch tent from South Africa that floats over the field and seats up to #150. This is a must for seating over 120 people, but also provides additional staging options for rain or shine.

The building is sustainably built with air conditioning and heat on all three floors. There is a large stage in kitchen for caterers.

We are offering a limited set of bookings of only 10 weddings for 2020.

Weekend Package:

The venue cost for a 3-day destination weekend is $9,500.  Our maximum is 150 people and there is an additional fee of $15/per person over 100. Inside seating capacity is 120. Weekend package includes option for rehearsal dinner Friday night and Sunday brunch not to exceed 35 people without additional written agreement and possible fees.

3 Day Usage Usage — Bridal group shall be entitled to use the property for the weekend, including the barn first and second floor, bridal suite for the day/night, courtyards, stone/fire circle and surrounding grounds between the hours of Friday 9am for set up until Sunday 3 pm with breakdown at 2 pm. Rehearsal dinner hours for guests is 4:30 pm -10 pm Friday, 9-12 Saturday and 10-2pm Sunday for brunch. Music can be played until 11 pm.

Bridal couple only may have private use of 3rd floor bridal suite for both Friday & Saturday night, with exception for use by bridesmaids wedding party to dress for ceremony.


1 Day Package:

The venue cost for a 1-day destination wedding is $8,500.  Our maximum is 150 people and there is an additional fee of $15/per person over 100 people. Inside seating capacity is 120.

1 day Package Usage — Bridal group shall be entitled to use the property for the day until midnight, including the barn first and second floor, bridal suite for the day/night, courtyards, stone/fire circle and surrounding grounds between the hours of Saturday 9am for set up until Sunday 3 pm with breakdown starting no later than 2 pm.

Rehearsal for ceremony if at center can be schedule for one hour on Friday in the late afternoon. Bridal couple only may have private use of 3rd floor bridal suite for both Friday & Saturday night, with exception for use by bridesmaids wedding party to dress for ceremony.


Event services offered: Ceremonial ministry for all rites and pastoral duties (additional fee), lighting/sound set up.

Provided: Preferred list of outside vendors for all your needs.

Preferred list of outside vendors for catering, hair & make up, photography, flowers, music, furniture, lighting, photobooth, tables, tent accessories, tents and set up support. We direct you to our preferred rental companies for your tables and chairs for ceremony/dinner (settings & linens if not through caterer) and any other decor you might need/desire.

We have a large 22 foot buffet table, 12 foot reception table, eight 6-8 foot tables for bar or other set ups, 30 chairs for outdoors, outside patio furniture, and assorted vases (30+) to make your own flower arrangements.

Our staff is available your entire weekend to support your destination weekend, set up, the celebration experience and close out.

Transportation and access availability: Farm style parking with some graveled areas, shuttle buses encouraged, valet with golf cart when needed, handicap access and bathrooms on both floors.

Accommodations: We have partnerships with many B&B’s, block rentals with hotels, vacation homes (VHBO) and houses   (on Cayuga Lake) that sleep 8-24/ea.
