Celebrate your Wedding Event at the Treman Center!

Enjoy The Treman Center’s large, classic barn and Italianate courtyards on the edge of the Finger Lakes’ most scenic parks, featuring a spectacular 2.5 mile gorge and dramatic waterfalls right in our backyard. We are only 10 minutes from downtown Ithaca.

When you host your event at The Treman Center, the grounds are yours for full use as a destination weekend from 9 am Friday morning until 2 pm Sunday afternoon. We have found that for couples with family and friends coming in from out of town, having a central gathering place to hold the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and brunch is ideal.

There are many ways to stage your event around our vast grounds, front terrace, tree-flanked alley, and the two large main floors with fireplaces. The first floor is all stone, opening out onto the spacious Tuscan courtyards with water feature. The second floor has a fantastic dance floor with great sound and a Steinway; it’s also perfect for a seated dinner. There are handicap bathrooms on the first and second floor and a private bathroom for the bridal suite.

There is a bridal bedroom suite on the third floor for the marital couple to stay in for the weekend and a charming dressing area with theatre lights and mirrors where the bridesmaids can get ready with hair/makeup artists if desired.

Our unique stretch tent from South Africa floats over the field and seats up to 150 people. This is a must for seating over 120 people, but it also provides additional staging options for rain or shine.

“The Treman Center is the most perfect place for my wedding. My fiancé and I looked at venues all over upstate NY trying to find something that spoke to both of our tastes: rustic and classic New England elegance. Somehow, we came across the Treman Center and it just clicked. Everything from the actual barn to the stonework to the grounds jumped out at us. Plus, the owners are fantastic, hard-working people dedicated to making this place extremely special.”

“From the onset working with Leslie gave us – gave me, as the mother of the bride, the resource of knowing we had a seasoned and well-established individual to support this major event. Communication was exceptional via email, on the phone or in those meetings on-site and knowing other key vendors had worked with Leslie. This proved to be a major asset as the Wedding Day was launched.”

“Pictures do not do the venue justice. We are still not sure how the stars aligned that we found it when we did. The outdoor patio is beautiful, and the indoor barn is chic, elegant and fun. We dined downstairs and danced upstairs. Many of guests are still gushing about the location. And so are we.”
