The Treman Center is the perfect gathering place for:

Retreats, Workshops, Corporate Events, Annual Meetings, Fundraisers, Holiday Parties, Ceremonies, Memorials, Anniversaries, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs & much more

With its soaring ceilings, multiple levels, and lush, sprawling acreage, The Treman Center provides a unique and dynamic setting for your individual needs just 10 minutes from downtown Ithaca.

Whether you have 10 or 110 guests, the unique space provides a fantastic environment to inspire people for whatever your purpose may be, from corporate meetings to creative exercises in the healing arts to dancing, dining, and celebrating. There are many ways to stage your event at The Treman Center, both indoors and out.

Inside the Barn, there are two beautiful, main floors for larger events. Both have fireplaces and spectacular views and access to the grounds. The first floor, with stage-in kitchen, opens out onto the spacious Tuscan courtyards. The airy second floor has high ceilings, a fantastic dance floor with great sound, and a Steinway; it’s also perfect for a seated dinner. Both floors have handicap bathrooms and access. The third floor is available for smaller events with intimate areas for breakout sessions and a large table for board meetings. The Center can hold up to 150 standing guests among its three floors and 120 seated on the second floor.

Outside the Barn, you’ll find many opportunities to engage with the vast grounds, front terrace, and tree-flanked alley. The two Tuscan courtyards are ideal for reception gatherings. The scenic oval water feature with stone shoulders offers a place to sit and be surrounded by nature and gorgeous flowering plants during the summer season. The courtyards are magical when lit up at night, and they open out to a stone circle with a large fire pit where we’ll make you a bonfire for night events! There is also a fabulous stretch tent from South Africa that seats 150 people outside for rain or shine gatherings from May until mid-October.

“Working with Leslie Carrere at The Treman Center was simply wonderful. She provided the right balance of professionalism, artistic input, attention to detail, and sincere interest in making our event a success. The Treman Center itself is an amazing space, truly unique, beautiful and serene. I highly recommend The Treman Center for a wide variety of events, whether a retreat, small conference, wedding, or other celebration.”

“The time, effort and love Leslie and Kevin put into creating the Treman Center was not only a demonstration of their dreams, but it provided the stimulus for one of the largest, most unique family gatherings in years. We have you to thank for that.”
