Celebrate your Wedding Event at the Treman Center!

Enjoy The Treman Center’s large, classic barn and Italianate courtyards on the edge of the Finger Lakes’ most scenic parks, featuring a spectacular 2.5 mile gorge and dramatic waterfalls right in our backyard. We are only 10 minutes from downtown Ithaca.

When you host your event at The Treman Center, the grounds are yours for full use as a destination weekend from 9 am Friday morning until 2 pm Sunday afternoon. We have found that for couples with family and friends coming in from out of town, having a central gathering place to hold the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and brunch is ideal but we also offer a 1 full day/overnight option.

There are many ways to stage your event around our vast grounds, front terrace, tree-flanked alley, and the two large main floors with fireplaces. The first floor is all stone, opening out onto the spacious Tuscan courtyards with water feature. The second floor has a fantastic dance floor with great sound and a Steinway; it’s also perfect for a seated dinner. There are handicap bathrooms on the first and second floor and a private bathroom for the bridal suite.

There is a bridal bedroom suite on the third floor for the marital couple to stay in for the weekend and a charming dressing area with theatre lights and mirrors where the bridesmaids can get ready with hair/makeup artists if desired.

Our unique stretch tent from South Africa floats over the field and seats up to 150 people. This is a must for seating over 120 people, but it also provides additional staging options for rain or shine. It will be available for 2021 but 2022 will be alternative tent rental.

RATES FOR 2021 and 2022

For celebration needs, we offer a weekend, or 1-day package for weddings of 86-150 guests or the weekend Boutique or 1 day boutique package for smaller gatherings of 85 or less guests. Read on to determine which package meets your desires for your joyous occasion.

LARGER WEEKEND PACKAGE:

For larger gatherings and 86-150 we offer the weekend package or one day wedding package.

The venue cost for a 3-day destination weekend is $9500.00. This includes a maximum number of 150 people; there is an additional fee of $15 per person when the guest count exceeds 100. The inside seating capacity is 120. The weekend package includes the option for a rehearsal dinner Friday night and a brunch on Sunday (not to exceed 35 people without additional written agreement and possible fees).

Rates: Venue cost for the 3-day weekend rental starts at $8500 (May-October) and $7500 (November-April), plus NY State 8% tax, for 85 guests with additional fee of $75/per person up to 150 guests for a destination wedding.

We have an amazing unique stretch tent that seats 150+ that is available for only $500 for 2021. Alternative tent rental will be required for 2022. The tent is necessary for seating over 120, as rainy weather or very hot sun requires additional staging space.

The weekend package includes the option for a rehearsal dinner Friday night and a brunch on Sunday (not to exceed 35 people without additional written agreement and possible fees).

Particulars: The bridal group is permitted to use the property for the weekend, including the barn’s first and second floors, bridal suite for the day/night, courtyards, fire circle, and surrounding grounds between the hours of 9 am on Friday for set up until 2 pm on Sunday, with breakdown at 2 pm. Rehearsal and rehearsal dinner hours for guests are between 4:30 pm and 10 pm on Friday. The bride and bridal party may use the dressing suite beginning at 8 am on Saturday. Music can be played until 11 pm. All guests must depart by midnight. Brunch is traditionally held from 10 am – 1 pm on Sunday.

Only the bridal couple may have private use of the 3rd floor bridal suite for both Friday and Saturday night, with the exception for use by bridesmaids to dress for the ceremony.

LARGER 1 DAY PACKAGE:

Rates: The venue cost for a 1-day destination wedding is $6500 for 85 people with an additional fee of $75 per person up to 150, plus NY State 8% tax. Inside seats 120 and tent is required for 120-150.

Rehearsal for the ceremony, if at The Treman Center, can be scheduled for one hour on Friday in the late afternoon.

Only the bridal couple may have private use of the 3rd floor bridal suite for Saturday day/night, with exception for use by bridesmaids to dress for the ceremony.

OUR BOUTIQUE WEDDING PACKAGE FOR SMALLER GATHERING

With increased interest in more intimate weddings for smaller gatherings of 30-85 people, we are now offering boutique wedding packages.

BOUTIQUE WEEKEND PACKAGE

Rate: Boutique venue cost for a full weekend is $5000 for 50 people or less and $100/per additional person up to 85 people, plus NY State 8% tax. Off Season (November-April) $1000 less.

Boutique Weekend package includes option for rehearsal dinner Friday night and Sunday brunch not to exceed 35 people without additional written agreement and possible fees. Friday 9 am to Sunday 2 pm with 2 nights in our fabulous bridal suite.

Saturday 9 am to Sunday 11am with Friday rehearsal 4:30-5:30 pm and wedding night in our fabulous bridal suite.

Particulars: The bridal group is permitted to use the property for the weekend, including the barn’s first and second floors, bridal suite for the day/night, courtyards, fire circle, and surrounding grounds between the hours of 9 am on Friday for set up until 3 pm on Sunday, with breakdown at 2 pm. GENERAL

Whichever package you choose, our staff is available for your entire stay to support your destination weekend, from set up to the celebration experience and close out. Additional event services include ceremonial ministry for all rites and pastoral duties (additional fee), lighting/sound set up, a preferred list of outside vendors for all your needs, buffet and bar tables, 30 chairs for outdoors, outside patio furniture, and assorted vases to make your own flower arrangements.

Accommodations: We have partnerships with many local B&B’s, vacation homes (VHBO), and houses (on Cayuga Lake) that sleep 8-24 guests each; we can also help arrange block rentals with hotels.

Food: The barn is fitted with a stage-in kitchen for fully catered, seated or buffet-style events. We can provide you with a list of our preferred caterers to choose from or work with one of yours. All events must be catered.

Transportation and Access: Farm-style parking with some graveled areas is available; shuttle buses from downtown Ithaca are encouraged for larger events. We provide a valet with golf cart when needed. There are ramps for both floors for handicap access.
