Celebrate your Wedding Event at the Treman Center!
Enjoy The Treman Center’s large, classic barn and Italianate courtyards on the edge of the Finger Lakes’ most scenic parks, featuring a spectacular 2.5 mile gorge and dramatic waterfalls right in our backyard. We are only 10 minutes from downtown Ithaca.
When you host your event at The Treman Center, the grounds are yours for full use as a destination weekend from 9 am Friday morning until 2 pm Sunday afternoon. We have found that for couples with family and friends coming in from out of town, having a central gathering place to hold the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and brunch is ideal.
There are many ways to stage your event around our vast grounds, front terrace, tree-flanked alley, and the two large main floors with fireplaces. The first floor is all stone, opening out onto the spacious Tuscan courtyards with water feature. The second floor has a fantastic dance floor with great sound and a Steinway; it’s also perfect for a seated dinner. There are handicap bathrooms on the first and second floor and a private bathroom for the bridal suite.
There is a bridal bedroom suite on the third floor for the marital couple to stay in for the weekend and a charming dressing area with theatre lights and mirrors where the bridesmaids can get ready with hair/makeup artists if desired.
Our unique stretch tent from South Africa floats over the field and seats up to 150 people. This is a must for seating over 120 people, but it also provides additional staging options for rain or shine.
RATES FOR 2020
We offer a weekend or 1-day package for your celebration needs. Read on to determine which package meets your desires for the joyous occasion. Please note, we are offering a limited set of bookings of only 10 weddings for 2020.
WEEKEND PACKAGE: The venue cost for a 3-day destination weekend is $9500.00. This includes a maximum number of 150 people; there is an additional fee of $15 per person when the guest count exceeds 100. The inside seating capacity is 120. The weekend package includes the option for a rehearsal dinner Friday night and a brunch on Sunday (not to exceed 35 people without additional written agreement and possible fees).
Particulars: The bridal group is permitted to use the property for the weekend, including the barn’s first and second floors, bridal suite for the day/night, courtyards, fire circle, and surrounding grounds between the hours of 9 am on Friday for set up until 3 pm on Sunday, with breakdown at 2 pm. Rehearsal and rehearsal dinner hours for guests are between 4:30 pm and 10 pm on Friday. The bride and bridal party may use the dressing suite beginning at 8 am on Saturday. Music can be played until 11 pm. All guests must depart by midnight. Brunch is traditionally held from 10 am – 1 pm on Sunday.

1 DAY PACKAGE: The venue cost for a 1-day destination wedding is $8000. This includes a maximum number of 150 people; there is an additional fee of $15 per person when the guest count exceeds 100. The inside seating capacity is 120.
Particulars: The bridal group is permitted to use the property for the day until midnight, including the barn’s first and second floors, bridal suite for the day/night, courtyards, fire circle, and surrounding grounds between the hours of 9 am on Friday for set up until 3 pm on Sunday, with breakdown at 2 pm.
Rehearsal for the ceremony, if at The Treman Center, can be scheduled for one hour on Friday in the late afternoon. Only the bridal couple may have private use of the 3rd floor bridal suite for both Friday and Saturday night, with exception for use by bridesmaids to dress for the ceremony.
Whichever package you choose, our staff is available for your entire stay to support your destination weekend, from set up to the celebration experience and close out. Additional event services include ceremonial ministry for all rites and pastoral duties (additional fee), lighting/sound set up, a preferred list of outside vendors for all your needs, buffet and bar tables, 30 chairs for outdoors, outside patio furniture, and assorted vases to make your own flower arrangements.
Accommodations: We have partnerships with many local B&B’s, vacation homes (VHBO), and houses (on Cayuga Lake) that sleep 8-24 guests each; we can also help arrange block rentals with hotels.
Food: The barn is fitted with a stage-in kitchen for fully catered, seated or buffet-style events. We can provide you with a list of our preferred caterers to choose from or work with one of yours. All events must be catered.
Transportation and Access: Farm-style parking with some graveled areas is available; shuttle buses from downtown Ithaca are encouraged for larger events. We provide a valet with golf cart when needed. There are ramps for both floors for handicap access.
